Apex Legends Global Series 2020 comes with five different categories and abundant prizes

Battle royale game made by Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts (EA), Apex Legends, is now getting more serious in developing their competitive scene by presenting the Apex Legends Global Series 2020.

In this tournament series, Apex Legends Global Series 2020 will feature 12 global events involving 60 different countries.

Apex Legends Global Series 2020 will come in five different categories, namely Online, Challenger, Premier, Major, and Championship.

The number of these categories is deliberately presented by Respawn to provide many avenues for players to qualify for the Global Series Major.

Through the infographic below, you can see how players can earn points from online, regional (Challenger) and inter-regional (Premier) tournaments.

The biggest event of the Global Series is four major tournaments. As the main event of EA, the final phase of the tournament will feature 300 teams that will compete for a total prize pool of US $ 500,000 (Rp7 billion).

The last major tournament of the Apex Legends Global Series is the Championship. This tournament will only involve 60 of the world's best teams, where they will compete for the biggest piece of cake from a total prize of US $ 1 million (Rp14 billion).

With 2020 approaching, Respawn has announced the schedule for the Apex Legends Global Series. The first three events will be held on:
